KYSO Project CIC is a not-for-profit supportive organisation in Manchester that helps young people break barriers by offering them a range of activities such as Drama & Music Workshops & Confidence building!
We were established in 2012 as a community youth group in response to the London riots and the growing number of young people that are interested or not already engaged in performing arts/projects. The goal of the organisation is to identify and help young people who are going to have a turbulent transition to adulthood and offer a positive support system to avoid the pitfalls that can derail their lives. The focus is slightly different at each level, but the goal remains the same; empower young people to make positive changes in their life.
Our mission to ‘provide outstanding, life improving opportunities to all’.
We aim to provide:-
We have helped to give opportunities to young people based on how they present themselves and as a result, we have become more popular in the city.
The talents of our young people inspire the public and give them confidence in us.
Following the successful onboarding and managing of active members, we made an executive decision to transition into a CIC on the 31st of Oct 2019.
We have worked with local community organisations such as Manchester City Council, Moss Side Millenium Powerhouse, MSV Housing, UA92 and many more, this has helped to inspire our young people.
